2022 Triploid Mini Watermelon Cultigen Evaluation Study, HCRS, Clinton, NC

NC State Extension Horticultural Science Vegetable Specialist, Jonathan Schultheis,  Research Technician Stuart Michel, and Research Technician Support Andrew Pfefferkorn conduct annual cultigen evaluations on watermelons and other cucurbits. An objective of our cucurbit evaluations is to identify adapted cultivars that NC growers can grow profitably.

The 2022 Triploid Mini Watermelon Cultigen Evaluation Studies were conducted at the Horticultural Crops Research Station in Clinton, NC. Cultigens were evaluated for yield and quality.
